Purpose . . .

To lead and teach the choirs and congregation of Walking in the Word Prophetic Ministries the importance and value of worship so they can more completely and effectively worship God.

Accountability . . .

The Minister of Music and Arts reports to the Pastor and is responsible to the Church Board.

Walking in the Word Ministries is dedicated to teaching young singers the proper techniques of singing. We welcome membership of both boys and girls from the ages of 3 through 18 years. Singers must have the desire both to learn and to perform beautiful, challenging music. We also emphasize proper singing techniques, as well as appropriate singing etiquette.

The Temple Ensemble is an assemblage of voices and musicians that have come together to minister songs of praise, worship and testimony unto Christ. The Ensemble is focused to sing songs that give a message that Jesus Saves and Forgives. Many of the Middle aged adults that make up this choir have encountered a close walk with Christ from deliverance of some personal life experience. This gives the choir a "with one accord" cause of WHY we sing.

The Men's choir is a group of men that are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  These men are singing the songs of Zion because they choose to. They have a desire to serve the Lord in the capacity of the singing ministry. They are men of character and valor. The Male Chorus show themselves mighty by standing out and singing praises unto our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ!

 

The purpose for the Gospel Choir is to rejoice in the name of God through song as well as minister to the community. We are a Christian ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We seek to lead others to the wonderful love and grace of Jesus Christ. The Gospel Choir relays the message of the Gospel through singing throughout the year. We meet to fellowship and sing praises to our Lord.
